The evoUV deliver a more efficient and more economical performance than before thanks to their new design.The new range includes completely redesigned 30 Watt and 55 Watt models, a new 15 Watt and 25 Watt model perfect for use on the smaller garden pond, along with a 75 Watt version and a new 110 Watt model.The design of these new UVs optimises flow rates and improves energy efficiency, with the sole focus to deliver optimum performance at all times to clear green water in ponds which is caused by single celled green algae. evoUVs will work alongside many different filtration systems and are incredibly easy to install with flexible hose or hard pipe and can be easily fitted within existing pipework runs. All evoUV models come with high output UV bulbs powered by energy efficient ballasts, all housed within a fully watertight, robust housing.

It will discolour water for up to 7 days, and can be used down to 10°C (50°F).

At higher temperatures Potassium Permanganate removes oxygen from pond water, it is advisable to keep an air stone running and add more air if possible.

Kusuri Hydrogen Peroxide 6% can be used to increase the oxygen levels in pond water and also remove the discolouration from the pond water after a course of Kusuri Potassium Permanganate has oxidised from pink to brown.

Kusuri recommend NOT using Potassium Permanganate with salt.

This product is designed as a one off treatment, but may require a second dose after 7 days in heavy infestation. Alternatively you can use Kusuri Fluke M after 7 days.

For use with all cold water ornamental fish.

The most noticeable feature of the Spindrifter bottom drain is the extra 1 inch Dia Pressure pipe connection in the sump of the drain. This allows the air supply hose to enter the sump independent of the water outlet pipe, thus eliminating the possibility of restriction to the water flow and somewhere else for blanket weed to attach.

The membrane and backing plate on the Spindrifter bottom drain fits into a recess in the specially manufactured dome (provided). The recess in the Spindrifter bottom drain prevents the membrane from becoming detached. The complete assembly is secured to the Spindrifter bottom drain by means of a stem, which also provides the air inlet. Most water pipe sizes can be accommodated, the customer to specify. The air inlet is via a nickel plated connector.

A trickle filter works because a drop of water falls on the filter material, divides, falls further on the underlying filter material and divides further. This allows the water to absorb a lot of oxygen.

Because the water becomes more oxygen-rich, the bacteria grow faster and better than in any other pond filter. The large amount of bacteria can therefore keep a pond clean and clear, while the filter does not need much space.

A trickle filter helps remove phosphates and nitrates from the water, giving you healthy and clear water and greatly reducing the growth of thread algae. The filter is suitable for every pond, because of its high biological effect, they are often used with large ponds and with koi ponds.
